Its been a fantasy of mine for some time now...but how about I just "bite-the-bullet" and approach an art gallery that I have loved for many years and ask them if they liked my art enough to sell it? I have to tell you, I was nervous, after all, every piece of art that I create is direct from my heart (corny I know...but very true)! What was the worst thing that could happen? They could say "no" and in fact, they did to some of my artwork that looked very similar to other artist's painting that they are already selling (fair enough), but actually they said a resounding "yes" to many of my favourite paintings! I felt like I was walking on air when I left and wanted to cry with joy and pride on the way home (not a good luck when getting home by bus)!
In addition to this wonderful new opportunity, I have so many fantastic ideas about new art that I can't wait to get them out of my head and onto the canvas! Thank you so much for following me on my artistic journey, I love what I do and I'm so honoured that you do too! Happy New Year! Janine x
